We met the teacher on Thursday 27/6/19. SC2 sees lots of children moving on and we are excited to see and hear all their news. We are excited to learn all about the new children coming up to SC2 in August.
We had a great day at Castle Espie. We fed the ducks and went pond-dipping.
We did lots of terrific work at home and then shared our projects with our class. Some projects were about the Hill/Bateson family, the RSPB or the Normans.

The whole school did a sponsored walk for MS in the forest.
We had fun working through the Belvoir workbook in the forest.
We celebrated two birthdays.
We are enjoying our new topic - a Local Study of Belvoir.
We've been learning about 3d shapes and their properties. We explored nets of 3d shapes and made some to take home.
We had fun celebrating a birthday at the end of April. Mrs Paul made pancakes and we had a dinosaur cake. It was a day full of very yummy treats.
We had lots of fun making pancakes for Shrove Tuesday. We had even more fun eating them with lemon and sugar or chocolate.
As a wee half-term treat we had PE in the park.
Y4 have had lots of fun with Boomwhackers.
We read a story about Buddy the Dog and internet safety. We learned a few rules. :)
Tuesday 5th February was a very busy day... Chinese New Year and 100th Day as well as Safer Internet Day. We celebrated by making a Chinese Lantern decorated with 100 stamps, weighing 100 things and seeing how many times we could hop, high kick, toe lift or crunch in 100 seconds during PE.
We had so much fun in January. We did Sensory circuits, Y5 started Gymnastics, Y4 learned about the oceans using a Twister game and we celebrated a birthday!
Mrs Paul made us a beautiful chocolate Christmas Tree cake. We helped to decorate it.
We had two fabulous travellers in our Key Stage One Nativity, Innspectors.
Mrs O'Kane and Miss Donnelly from the Advisory Service came to visit us today (26/11/18) and we had fun doing Lego Therapy.
Year 5 were learning about the continents with this Twister game. We all had fun playing it at Golden Time.
We made our own labyrinths in PE and went for a mindfulness walk on each others.
To celebrate STEAM week we've planted bulbs, explored forces and chemical reactions linked to our topic of Volcanoes.
We've been looking at capacity and trying to figure out ways to order different shaped containers. We've started to look at the measurements written on containers and talked about millilitre (ML) and Litre (L)
